Hello and welcome to 6th.org.uk We have decided to start a website detailing historic events from the British perspective in WW2. The idea has come from the small amount of history that we have written on the (>6th<) Airborne clan site and a few like minded people.

It is with sadness and regret that i inform you that Denis Edwards died on the 20th May 2008. He provided articles for this website during 2004 and 2005. Denis Edwards (Sniper, with the 6th Airborne on D-Day) has allowed us to use extracts from his book on the website. He has also provided us with stories from WW2 which I have added to the 6th Airborne Stories section. At this stage I would like to thank 'tinsodier' and 'colonel nicholson' for the articles so far. 'oddball' has asked if he can write an article on Bletchley Park (Station X) and because I think an area dedicated to the SOE would be beneficial I have said he can.
